Wesnoth 1.13 Add-ons List

To install add-ons using the in-game client, choose “Add-ons” from the main menu, and click “Connect” to connect to the add-ons server. Pick the add-on you want to install from the list and click “OK” — the download will commence immediately and the add-on will be automatically installed once finished. Bear in mind that not all add-ons are singleplayer campaigns!

If you really need or would prefer to download add-ons from this web page instead of using the built-in client, use a compatible program to uncompress the full contents of the tar.bz2 file — including the subfolder named after the add-on — to the data/add-ons/ folder in your game’s user data folder. The add-on will be recognized next time you launch Wesnoth or press F5 on the main menu.

Tip: Hover over the type field to see an explanation of the add-on type and over an icon to see a description for the add-on.

Pick your recruits. No preparation turn
For wesnoth 1.13.8+dev and later. On older wesnoth 1.13 versions the recruitment choose dialog might appear delayed for other players. For wesnoths versions older then 1.13.7  please download the version from the 1.12 addon server. All players pick their recruits immediately after the game begins so no preperation turn is needed. This makes it compatible with scenarios and campaigns that use turn based events

Silly AI Example
Add a fancy custom feature 'spearman archons' which adds a wml menu item so that adjacent spearmen merge into one unit.

It also adds some lua code so that the AI can and does use the archon ability. 

This is meant as an example about how to enable the AI to use custom UMC features, by making external candidate actions which plug into the default AI.

XP Modification
This addon provides rightclick menu that allows you to spend unit experience for upgrades. Costs can be changed during game creation, and by default are:
* 6 xp for 4 health
* 10 xp for 1 movement (for the next turn and all subsequent)
* 16 xp for 1 additional damage (for each weapon)
* 56 xp for 1 additional strikes (for each weapon)
 
You may locally change slider ranges without any out of sync problems.
 
XP Modification is continuation of XP Era from wesnoth 1.10, based on work by Dovolente, itota and Nosmos.

UMC Terrain Pack
Currently it contains the custom terrains in Archaic Resources, IftU/AtS and Strategic Map.
There are example maps in the add-on folder to show what terrains are available. To use the terrains in your add-ons, simply put them onto your maps through editor, and include '{~add-ons/UMC_Terrain_Pack/load_UTP.cfg}' in '_main.cfg' files.

Extended Armies Era

Black Tide MP Faction
Adds the Black Tide faction, an allegiance of outlaws and dissenters centered on the holdouts at the Three Sisters. With a core chaotic land force lacking in range, the presence of powerful lawful ranged units restricted to the water makes securing aquatic channels vital. Does not alter any existing factions (though existing units for the faction are slightly altered for promotion paths). By default includes the Khalifate in its appropriate MP eras.

Comprised of all units in the base game that are not in an existing faction, with the exception of the dragons, peasants, and the level 4 and 5 units that aren't easily fit into a faction. Somehow this manages to coalesce into something slightly pirate-themed and sort of balanced to the other factions!

The central factions of this era consist of Northern Orcs, Despair, Khthon, and Ukians, as well as the default Undead and default Loyalists.  The extended version includes Primeval, South-Seas, Menagerie, and Phantom factions, which are less balanced, and shall always be.  Partially animated.  Somewhat balanced, at least for the central factions.  Needed for BMR & Trinity campaigns, for which these factions play the dominant role.

Bad Moon Rising
An expedition to gather treasure from the cold north sets off compounding disaster.  SP Campaign with some RPG elements in Parts 2 and 3.  (+20 scenarios - Requires 'Archaic Era' and 'Archaic Resources' add-ons) - Has some issues when run at 800 X 600 resolution.  The state of some translations is questionable.  NOTE:  This campaign is broken by at least one bug in BfW 1.13.8, but it should work if you download the add-on Lua Fixes)

If this mod is on, then Loyalists get an extra unit called Man-at-Arms who functions like an level 1 swordsman that can level into Swordsman and Lieutenant, Spearman does not level into Swordsman then, only into Pikeman or Javelineer.

Sometimes the fate has a quite interesting sense of humor. Some people wish to be good but it has something different prepared for them. It was also the case of a young mage Clare from the Northlands.
She only wanted to protect her home village from the still more aggressive orcs but just one event completely changed her whole life. It has become very thrilling and much longer but everything has its price. She had to do many a thing what she did not like. Watch with your own eyes what happened and how she dealt with it. Watch her path to power but also her descent.

Determine what the terms of surrender are whenever a leader is killed.

Oten's Commerce Guilds
Money makes the world go round. 

*Pay the commerce guilds to discretely transfer funds to other leaders. 
*Pay the commerce guilds to arrange ownership change of your villages.
*Accrue daily/turn-based interest. 

6 turns = 1 day. Interest is collected based on the treasury at that specific turn. Collecting interest (more than 0%) will greatly weaken negative gold per turn.

Legend of the Invincibles
Sometimes, people don't embrace the tempting powers of darkness because of desires to rule, but merely for survival. Can the dark powers be used to fight against dark schemes with no limits or will they eventually corrupt its users?

A massive 200 scenarios long campaign divided into 2 parts, each of them consisting of five substories. The chapters offer a varied character development and changing strategies throughout. Although preserving the traditional Wesnoth gameplay, there are also many powerful items to collect, as well as a level-up system for all units that goes beyond the L3 limit. Your recalls will be all the more unique and fun to use due to the many power-ups obtained throughout this campaign.

Also contains two coop multiplayer scenarios related to the campaign.

The campaign has two spin-offs, 'The Beautiful Child' and 'Affably Evil'. The campaign 'Kill the King' is also related.

Strange Legacy - Trader
Strange Legacy: The Orc invasion came without warning and with a brutality that caught the Human Alliance completely off guard and unprepared for. Before the year was over the Orcs controlled half of the Northland. The Winter finally halted their advance. Meh, what's the big deal. I never cared much for politics or policy. But when my uncle was gone, I started into the greatest adventure of my life.

This campaign is a classical rpg that offers a variety of options, you will just control one hero and bring him to fortune. You can trade, pickpocket, be a bard, bounty- or treasurehunter, or working as a craftsman selling your goods. You can also run a building and upgrade it or doing random generated missions. There are a lot of ways to make a fortune. But the world around isn't always friendly and it will react on your character level. You might encounter thieves, orcs, bandits or wild animals and therefore you will need a proper equipment to defend yourself.

Equip your charcter with: helmets, armors, shoes, shields, instruments, rings, amulets, ranged or meleeweapons or learn more than 80 powerful spells to gain an advantage. Hire one of 35 mercs to defend your load and recall them using your warhorn. Try to conquer an enemy town to gain a constant tax income. Encounter all kind of enemies each on changing maps, according to the terrain - even your ship might be attacked by naga warriors or dangerous pirates. Follow the storyline with 34 missions that will force you to explore the world of Strange legacy. A new amla system will allow you to create a character in the way you like him, allowing you to solve the game differently each time you play and the difficulty is increasing with each level up. 
For the most recent changes check the forum thread. Equip your uncles house with furniture allowing you to craft weapons, armors and cook food. If you like to have a classic RPG try out the RPG Mode. Have fun!

The North Wind
Wesnoth's army was occupied fighting Mal Ravanal in the East, but there were whisperings of an orcish attack in the north. Konrad II must send Deoran, now an experienced rider and commander, with a small band of knights to hold off the orcs....

This campaign features unique gameplay characteristics such as zero recruitment, no non-death loss conditions, and a 24-turn time-of-day cycle.

War of Legends
This is MP era that consists of my favourite factions. Originally, it was an amalgamation of the add-ons Great Legend Era and GLE Extended. Contains 13 factions: Human Alliance, Orcish Union, Aragwaithi, Southerners, Elementals, Vampires, Dark Legion, Sylvans, Undead, Outlaws, Drakes, Minotaurs and the Windsong. This era can also be used in campaigns as it has an easy-to-use format. Some units are not included in the eras because they are hero units and are meant to be used in single-player campaigns only. This era also contains a selection of units from Nightmares of Meloen, which can be used in single-player campaigns.

Reign of The Lords
The Reign of the Lords is an era where you play as 8 factions of ultimate lords reigning over a division of wesnoth - yet you are not satisfied. Fight as the greatest heroes, villains, and warriors of The Loyal Human army, The Orcish wartribe, The Dwarvish alliance, The Drake Stormfront, The Wizards of the Land, The Dark Legion, The Outcasts, and The High Elves. Fight in the most epic of battles where every unit has the power to determine the outcome. 
This Era is differen't from all others and in this legendary battle all your soldiers are mighty warriors above level 3. Differen't strategy will  be needed in these ultimate battles as you command a small elite group of high level soldiers. Are you up for the challenge of the Lords?

This Era includes a multiplayer modification option which when enabled allows all the base wesnoth units to advance to these new Lords. The Reign of The Lords Default Unit Advancement addon is also available and allows all campaign units to advance to these new Lords.

(VERSION 9.0.0) -  This new release features the 9th faction in the Reign of the Lords era: The Khalifate! Many new units have been added along with many prices changes for the lvl 2 units to balance the Reign of Heroes era!

If you have any suggestions or ideas please post any comments on the wesnoth forum about the Reign of The Lords era! The 5 Lords Default Unit Advancement Modification allows all mainline wesnoth units to advance to the lords in campaigns, however it is not required and may conflict with some user made campaigns.

Reign of the Lords Default Unit Advancements
The Reign of the Lords is an epic faction which gives you nearly two hundred new 3rd,4th, and 5th level units. Have you ever played a campaign and been overjoyed when your unit finally advanced only to realize it was at its maximum level? Nevermore... This allows the base wesnoth units to advance to 3rd,4th and 5th level Lords in all campaigns. This addon is dependent entirely on the Reign of the Lords addon which MUST be installed as well!

NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL THIS ADD-ON IF YOU INTEND TO PLAY, OR ARE PLAYING LEGEND OF THE INVINCIBLES. This add-on modifies the advancements of many mainline units, therefore it will most likely cause problems when installed with campaigns that have complex macros or campaigns that also modify the mainline advancements. This add-on works for all mainline campaigns, but beware problems may occur with other campaigns. If conflicts arise uninstall this 5 Lords Default Unit Advancement add-on. The Reign of the Lords era alone DOES NOT effect singleplayer at all.

The Hitpoint Modification
This is the Hit Point Modification it modifies all units in campaigns and multiplayer by increasing or decreasing their hitpoints and damage.

NOTE: for campaigns scroll to the bottom of the campaign menu and select the modification option
NOTE: this mod gives a large advantage to certain units and unbalances components of the game. For example the berserker ability is unbalanced if this mod is used. Similarily traits like resilient have a disadvantage now. Also heals and regenerates are disadvantaged if you increase the hitpoints significantly.

0.2.6 updates the mod to proportionaly increase the damage for poison. And the heal amount for resting and villages.
0.2.5 updates the mod to correctly increase damage and fixes the leadership ability being used with the damage modification.

The Era of Magic (EoMa) is considered one of the best UMC addons ever created for the Battle for Wesnoth. Being in development since 2007, it contains 8 playable factions with fully animated units (230 total) and tons of special effects. The aim of the EoMa is to make the most visually appealing and nice to play UMC era. By playing this add-on you'll see the most outstanding special effects and attack animations ever created for the BfW game as well as lead many unique units with amazing abilities straight into battle!
Since 2.0 the Era of Magic has come with the Zombies Challenge multiplayer survival scenario.

This era is required to play To Lands Unknown (TLU) campaign.

Galuldur's First Journey

His simple errand quickly turns into a frantic quest to unearth the roots of the mysterious evil threatening his people. The Southerners is a unique (multiplayer) era consisting of alternative stand alone factions from southern deserts, shores, and hills. Their home region is in southern parts of the Great Continent, beyond the Dusty Wastes, also known as the Ashland Desert, and in the maritime hillcountry beyond the Black River, respectively. The Southerners specialize in using terrain features to coordinate attacks at (liminal) dawn or dusk.
Many units and features are incredible different to the standards konwn in Wesnoth.

* This era can easily be intergated in custom scenarios, campaigns or multiplayer adventures. It has a very easy format.

The Chalifa is a variant of the Dunefolk faction, formerly know as 'Khalifate'.  It delivers opportunities for new tactics. Aligned with all default Dunefolk units plus 2 new units: the bomber-engineer and the martial arts assassin (Chalifa = mainline Dunefolk + 2 additional units).

*This faction can easily be intergated in custom scenarios, campaigns or multiplayer adventures. It has a very easy format.
*This user made content (UMC) is part of a southern style era called the Southerners. The default install of Wesnoth, while having northeners, undead, draken, ... and other factions, alliances, and soldiers of Wesnoth, lacks southern desert style factions, maps, etc., besides the Dunefolk: try it!

Stormtrooper
This is my first campaign and it is complete (5 scenarios), only balance may be an issue. As for the story, it has nothing to do with Wesnoth - all events and names shown here are just a metaphor of my real-life struggles. It's just my weird way of, let's say, dealing with the past, so don't worry if you don't understand the plot. If you play Wesnoth more like an RPG, this campaign is not for you, but otherwise you could just enjoy the gameplay. P.S. I really want to improve the quality of my work, but that requires an enormous amount of feedback, so I would be very pleased if you visited the forum and added your opinions/suggestions. Changes from 0.4: the story has been redesigned so now you should be able to understand it at least on it's literal meaning level. If you still don't, please let me know in the forum, I'll redesign it once more then.

Wesnoth is under assault from horrors from the north and lands beyond.  Sequel (and conclusion) to Bad Moon Rising, though it can be played on its own. 

SP Campaign, complete but there may be some bugs, and some revision may be needed (based on feedback).  The last half has been massively revised from the version available in BfW 1.10; the campaign has been split into two campaigns.  Requires the add-ons Archaic_Era and Archaic_Resources.

Armory Mod
Sort through your units' weapons, re-distributing them freely! Arm your swordsman with a javelin, or capture an enemy's battle-axe so your dark adept can defend herself. A complete weapon inventory system that works with all default factions, and many add-on units as well. Works in both multiplayer and campaigns--just right-click a unit to get started!

Note: pairs well with 'Unitmarker Mod' by Paulomat4, which can help you keep track of which units have which extra weapons.

Gold per Village (easy handicap)
Set individual 'Gold per Village' for each side. Give handicap to friends-beginners (so that the game would be more challenging), or AI.

Example:
Player1   gold: [100] income: [0]
Player2   gold: [100] income: [+1]  <-------
Player4   gold: [75] income: [0]
Player3   gold: [50] income: [0]

With this add-on, _each village_ of Player2 will provide 1 additional gold per turn. (Compare this to constant +1 as per default rules.)

Because the income bonus depends on owned villages, it scales with map size (making it suitable even for large maps).

Note: this add-on has no effect if you don't set any handicaps.

Era of Second Chances
A conglomeration of Ogres, Outlaw humans, and other units from campaigns that I never finished. Includes custom traits, unique recruitment lists, and largely completed unit animations. This era is tested for 1.13 (to be released simultaneously with a 1.12 version)! EoSC includes an Ogre faction, Outlaw faction, and slightly-modified Undead faction, each available as standalones, or along with default eras. The majority of these units are UMC, but also borrow occasional images, effects, or units from a couple other eras. See changelog for more details

This is a Human-vs-Human map. Each team consists of 1-3 human leaders (2-3 recommended), and a minor AI side.

The Golden Age
Quick note: there is also an addon called 'The Golden Age (Singleplayer)' in the 'Other' addon category. It allows you to have TGA units in singplayer. It needs to be installed ALONGSIDE TGA to work though.

Massive era which has multiple purposes: firstly, to largely expand the mainline factions (adding new unit lines, as well as new level-ups for existing units) and introduce new ones which don't look too out-of-place for wesnoth. Secondly, it is made as a large collection of unit images alongside with existing unit files, making it a good collection of units for people to use in their addons. There already have been made a lot of addons that are based on The Golden Age. Examples include Reign of Lords, Shards Era, and presumably Uber Default (only partly though). It's in a somewhat complete-ish state, with updates coming out relatively frequently, and with a lot of new content (i even have a rule that say that no update is an update without new units). But to be honest, it's nowhere near being bug-free, so please report any bugs you find on the bfw forums in the 'The Golden Age' thread. Suggestions are appreciated as well.

Sea Creatures (Only available in TGA +Naval)PS. if you have Inky Quest installed, then they will be translated(because i didn't bother changing textdomain in their unit files, same goes for undead from IftU,and units from Foap))

Nerfed Merman Storm Caller, nerfed Mounted Signalman's hp to 32, buffed Elvish Grand Sorceress's fireball to 18-3, changed Elvish's Assassin's bow attack to 11-6, nerfed Elvish Juggernaut's hp, made Elvish Trapper and Elvish Prowler cost slightly less, nerfed Elvish Vanquisher, nerfed Elvish Mage, nerfed Elvish Bowrider and Elvish Cavalry Marksman, Elvish Spearman now costs 15 gold, nerfed Elvish Shielder's resistances, but buffed his ranged attack, nerfed Mermaid Nymph, decreased Merman Spear Master's physical resistances back to 0% and made his ranged attack 11-5 lesser marksman , made TGA copies of Merman Spearman/Javelineer have lesser marksman, but with Merman Javelineer having 9-4 damage, decreased the cost of Great Wisp, Radiant Wisp, and Elvish Treewalker, buffed Elvish Wisp's entangle attack to 8-4, heavily rebalanced every carapace line (it largely involved strongly nerfing them in certain aspects),fixed Naga Marksman being unable to advance, added descriptions to Naga Assassin, changed Exterminator drastically, removed the Vilkai faction, since it caused issues with having the original Vilkai add-on istalled.

changed the portraits used by fire faeries, changed Naiad's sprite, added Peasant Farmgirl, made the faerie Sprite unable to advance into faerie Siren, because that doesn't make much sense. this option can be toggled in the 'XP bank' menu, if an avian advances while flying, she'll still remain in flight as the lvl2, gave Master Javelineer a new attack icon for flaming javelin, Autumn Faerie's thorns are now orange, changed Dusk Faerie's shadow wave from 8-2 to 5-3, and made the entire line have 6 mp and decreased the exp required to level up, also, made the lvl2 and lvl3 have 'lesser strength of darkness'.made each type of strength of darkness display differently, to make the difference clear, made 'Sprite' have 6 mp, 23 hp, and 22 gold cost, gave Forest Spirit a standing animation, added Merman Admiral (lvl4 Triton), ranamed dwarvish Geologist to Treasure Hunter, increased Dwarvish Brewer's cost to 20, made Doom Bat have 10 mp, gave Hag new melee attack icons, gave Elvish Mage a new sprite and made him an optional lvl2 of Elvish Noble (and heavily altered his stats accordingly), decreased clam's damage, but reduced her cost to 15, as well as her exp requirements, gave Elder Carapace a new ranged attack icon, and made him available as a leader in the drake faction, added Merman Corsair to the Outlaw faction, gave Merman Pirate/Buccaneer a hook attack, fixed Frost Direwolf having no image, also, increased his cold resistances, made Tyrserker's laugh more evil sounding, and buffed it, changed the Orcish Berserker's melee from 4-4 to 6-3, nerfed Altangshe's mp by 1, and his bow damage by 1 as well, added Merman Spear Master (lvl4 javelineer), great wisp and radiant wisp now have their own sprites, gave Signaldwarf a sprite of his own, updated Dwarvish Witness line's sprites, removed Steel Crusher, since he isn't that interesting, to be honest, renamed the entire Dwarvish Earth Adept line, and gave them a new attack icon for their 'stones' attack, and improved it's animation, also, the lvl1 can now advance to Dwarvish Ice Mage, nerfed Wolf Archer's fire bow to 12-2, buffed White Troll's poison vapor, changed Initiate Lich's sprite so that he has a book, just like in his portrait, also i updated his description, renamed him to 'Apprentice Lich', made him have 6 mp, and 8-3 chill wave and 6-3 shadow wave, made Apparition's bane attack have the 'no counter' special instead of shock, also, changed it's type to cold, also, updated Apparition's chill tempest animation. increased Void Mage's arcane resistance from -40% to -20%, Dwarvish Blazer now has the 'dwarf fire' attack without needing the amla, added fancier animations for shadow wave/noctum of the Dusk Faerie line, gave Sage Futuristic a new sprite, nerfed Avian Rhea's hp and melee damage, but gave her the 'desperate' ability  (+25% damage when hp is below 50%), gave Dragon Rider a new portrait, but nerfed his lance damage to 23-2, and Horse Lord's lance to 20-2, gave Auxillary Master a new portrait, changed the sprite of Merman Praetorian Guard, nerfed his spear damage to 18-2, and his shield to 22-1, but gave him the protection ability, and knockback on the shield, gave all djinn the 'magical first attack', and made Genie's chill wave attack animation fancier (same goes fr vilkai Animist/Druid) also, the djinn have a bit weaker melee, but stronger ranged, added a souns for Colossus Lich's claws, added an idle-like anim for Elvish Avatar

removed lesser marksman from Vilkai Hunter, but reduced his cost to 18, changed Vilkai Herbalist's slow attack to poison. renamed Guardian of Irdya to Ancient Faerie, since she's waaaay too weak for her title,changed the avian movement costs while they are in the flight mode, added Frost Direwolf (lvl3), renamed Vilkai Guardian of Nature to Wolf Fanatic and renamed Vilkai Ghost Warrior to Spiritual Warrior, added Dread Wolf, made the Dwarvish Runesmith branch able to advance all the way to lvl5, renamed Dwarvish Underearth King to Dwarvish Runic Lord, and gave him a portrait, changed the URL mentioned here to be actually accurate, gave Avian Thorntail lesser marksman on the bow in the ground form, improved Master Javelineer's flaming javelin attack animation, nerfed Arch Necromancer's damage on all attacks, but made him retain 30 hp in lich form istead of 25, and death damage to 12 from 8, but made the death damage unable to kill, increased Phoenix Knight's fire resistance to 80%, but nerfed his sword to 14-4, made 'The White' lvl5, and increased his hp to 80, changed Void Mage's noctum from 14-4 to 16-3, fixed Goblin Ravager having the goblin traits if not leveled up from a unit, but rather spawned by other means, changed Royal Necromancer's level to 5, and changed his stats accordingly, also, he now attacks using the axe shown in his sprite, and now he has the 'lich transformation ability', just like Arch Necromancer, removed 'terror' ability from Abomination since it was too overpowered, added the 'dread' special to the melee attack, and gave it the 'regenerates' ability, fixed Soul Shooter's soul arrow animation behaving weirdly, added Ancient Cactose (lvl3), slightly buffed Dragon Rider's melee attacks, fixed Initiate Lich being unable to advance in multiplayer, renamed 'Greatsword' to 'Greatswordsman', made the Vilkai have -10% fire resistance, nerfed Genies' and Afariyats' hp and lvl3 melee damage, but gave them cold/fire ranged attacks, made Ancient Faerie's 'arcane rage' attack's projectile bigger, and able to deal 33% of the main damage to all units around the target, same goes for Prince of Darkness's arcane variant, also, i made the arcane rage attack have the 'focused' special, decreased Ancient Faerie's hp from 333 to 250, nerfed Orcish Pikeman's damage, added Young Saurian to the drake recruit list, added the 'shockwave' special to Armored Troll and Siege Yeti, added portraits to the elvish civilian

1.4.4 Release (well, i think i have a bit too much spare time :), anyway, have a big update!)

1.4.3 Release (fancier faeries, improvements to other units, and Raaaaaabbits! Yay!)
change Banana Warrior's stats, added Banana unit. gave fire faeries, their fallen counterparts, and the domain guards idle animations. gave pixies a death animation. gave fallen sprite and fallen faerie new images, gave a new image to Autumn Faerie. fire faeries now have an orange-tinted halo when using their ranged attack. gave Domain Protector a new sprite, added Magical Book (a floating book which can cast spells, and have an AMLA), added a 'Magical' faction to 'TGA Extended', added Apparition (opt. lvl4 from Spectre, which can teleport), replaced Domain Guard's noctum attack with ethereal storm to make him feel less like a male dusk faerie copy with a spear, added Thrall line (zombies with maces. can be advanced to by walking corpses), changed the sprite of Dwarvish Woodcutter, added Naga Assassin (lvl3 Naga Hunter), renamed Naga Ninja's 'steal' ability to 'stealth', to make it more accurate, and gave him a 19-2 sword to make him more versatile (different damage distribution), added Floating Eye line (for the Monsters faction), made the TGA versions of bats cost less, remade Rabbit's stats to make him more interesting,  and made it, so that when you recruit a rabbit, it might randomly get one of four preset fur colors (and some secret variants too, but i'll leave finding them to yourself ;) )

The Golden Age (Singleplayer)
Just a small addon which makes TGA units appear in singleplayer. Note: unlike normal SP mods, it's not togglable in the main menu, but has to be installed/unistalled for toggling, due to technical limitations. Might cause id overlap issues when used alongside some campaigns (most of these cases are relatively harmless though, since the units are often visually identical, only stats tend to differ). Won't work without TGA installed (don't worry, the addon server will automatically tell you that you need it installed)

NOTE: the XP Bank SP has been deleted from the add-on server after the 1.4.0 update, since both mods have been merged into this one

Need to urgently level up a unit? some high level unit of yours stole the otherwise useful XP? have a lot of units with small amount of exp? a unit with a lot XP is about to die? well, you came to the right place! this mod provides players a rightclick option to store any units' EXP, and then transfer it to any other one through a somewhat bank-like system, negating all the problems listed above.

You reside in the city of Silvium, capital of the province, on the border with the northern barbarians. This is the height of the Lavinian Empire - but the Empire has overextended itself. The city of Silvia lies north of the mountains of Arendia, and is sandwiched between the Marauders and the Sidhe... war is inevitable, and the province of Silvia will almost certainly fall.

This is a WIP remake of an old Imperial Era campaign. Currently, there are 3 working levels. Why not give them a try?

Uber Default - Lite
update: adjusted no retaliate spec to not work against berzerkers.

This era contains many highly experimental ideas and has 10 factions:
Loyalist Army, Sylvan Rebels, Northern Horde, Undead Host, Knalgan Dwarves, Outcast Band, Drake Enclave, Dark Elves, Dunefolk Army and Beastmen Enclave.

Note: Some unit ability and specials may be bugged. When you have encountered an error, or something that doesnt work, or something that seems to work incorrectly please make me aware of what has happened in the 'Uber Default' forum thread at the official Wesnoth forum.

This era has several mechanics that differ from standard mp.
1. There are right-click based ranged attacks. Attacks that display their range as ranged are eligible to be used at the distance. Radius is +2 hexes for ranged attacks. Units must not be standing adjacent to an opponent in order to use their ranged attacks, otherwise they will be forced into shortrange.
2. Ranged attacks have been divided into 2 tiers: short and ranged. Most thrown weapons are short range, meaning they continue being used for attacking the adjacent hex. Most archer units and select magicians gain an ranged attack from lvl2 onwards that can be used via the right-click menu. Among the factions, Sylvan Rebels have the most ranged attackers and Northern Horde has the fewest.
3. Units have a fixed vision radius of 3 hexes. Atleast one unit in each faction have an increased view radius of 5 hexes, those are tagged with an special note indicating they are scout. If you wish to turn off this feature tick off 'Fog of War' at Game Settings, when creating the match.
4. Healing has 4 ability tiers and healers may gain a trait that boosts the amount they can heal by +2. Regeneration ability works a bit different for Troll and Woses, being level tiered and affected by Time of the Day. An lawful wose regenerates more at day but worser during night.
5. There is 8-turn Time of the Day, with Midday and Midnight included. During those you gain/suffer +/-30% instead the usual 15%. Gain/loss from day-time has been nerfed to 15 instead 25.
6. Most level 2 units can be promoted to become expendable leaders, that can also recruit in addition to your original leader. Which types exactly you can determine by looking at the leaders list of your faction. When an level 2 unit type that is eligible for becoming an leader stands next to your original-leader(gold-crown) you can promote it for 30 gold to an hero(silver-crown). Upon promotion the unit will be free of upkeep but wont gain 'heroic' trait.
7. When an unit that can recruit(be it your original or an promoted leader) levels up to level 3, you gain ability to recruit its level 2 form, but only when recruiting through that unit.
8. All factions got altered. Knalgan faction is fully dwarven and does not have any human units. Outlaws are in their own seperate faction. Saurians have their longdeserved own faction in addition to continue being allies to Drakes. Many units have had their properties changed, new abilities, traits, attacks or advancements added where its deemed fit. There are many new level 4 units.
9. Some factions like Loyalists or Northerners have more unit types to recruit than others, resulting in them being allrounders with an economic drawback, whilst factions like Undead, Beastmen or Drakes are composed of few units that each specialize in a role. Whilst there has been a attempt to normalize playfield opportunities across all factions, they have retained their original strengths. This means whilst there may now exist a Skeleton Spearman, it may not be as efficient to use compared to its still living Loyalist counterpart the Spearman.
10. Most factions have an means of secondary income. Loyalists can randomly gain a trait on most military units that reduces upkeep, Northerners earn extra gold through capturing villages and have supportive skills later on, Outlaws may generate gold from unit kills, Dwarves can earn gold on mountains.
11. Units can move after attacking, amount of movement used equals strike count in the attack, exemption are attacks with an berserk(or berserk-like), swarm(and derivatives,such as ravage), multi-hex affecting special on it and major spells, those always deplete full moves after attack.

Halfelven
Halfelven is a unique stand alone faction . Their homeland is in south-western parts of the Great Continent (Irdya), beyond the Black River.

In prehistory, they split from the Elves, because the Elves became involved with Faerie magic. But the Halfelven, as they became named later by their half-brothers and -sisters, set themselves apart. Over time, the artists, engineers, smiths, and scientists became artful in arcane production methods, calling it kabbalah. But as a race, they stood away from magic, somewhat puritan and simple in the eyes of the Elves. Therefor the Halfelven are not enwrought by magic like Elves, Faeries, Wose, as a consequence.

The Halfelven traditionally fight with arcane-hardened light-bronze weaponry and armour cast by the best weaponsmiths, for iron is regarded as inferior. In Wesnoth, today, the Halfelven are best known for their Golems, robot-like loam guardians, animated by kabbalistic programming code on parchment placed inside their construction.

Originating from the steppes in the far east, they were the first which had an early contact to the drakes, dragons, elves and dwarfs in Irdya prehistory. Eventually, they came to settle in nearly every part of what is now known as Wesnoth, even before the establishment of Wesnoth by king Aldrik and his people. Until today, they mostly live as deep-read merchants, traders, researchers, teachers, artists, sea-navigators, in cities and ports. Many of their customs and features are incredible different to the standards konwn in Wesnoth, to the point it puts them even far from all other factions, to which they seek to live in peace. Wesnoth tales have many stories of unions of a mortal Man and an Halfelven, of which came those who had both halfelven and human ancestry.

* This faction can easily be intergated in custom scenarios, campaigns or multiplayer adventures. It has a very easy format. Everything is explained in the source files and in various code comments: try it out!

Scenario
Singleplayer scenario
After install the scenario will show up in the list you get when choosing “Campaign” in the main menu. (Basically it is just a campaign with only one scenario.)
Heroes
'Heroes' is a series of single-scenario campaigns.

'Heroes' features 25 unique heroes, each with their own AMLA set and abilities. Pick a hero and fight with him against other players in a deathmatch mode. Most of the 25 heroes origin from the campaigns Oath of Allegiance, Carved in Stone, Nightfall or Ashen Hearts. This will later be used as a ressource pack for those campaigns.

ArenaZ
A free for all arena map, where you have to survive with your leader longer than the others.

In one variation of the map you are rushed by yetis at some point.

The map is small, games do not take long.



This version has been adjusted for 1.13/1.14.
It requires 1.13.10.
On 1.13.8 the version from the 1.12 server can be used.

Genesis Resources
There exist ten worlds in the new universe, one for each aspect of creation, and each governed by an associated Guardian. These Guardians often come into conflict with one another by the very nature of their beings, and this results in a tepid hostility between many worlds.

For most, there is no escape from the machinations of the Guardians, and they can only suffer through what fate has in store for them, but there are a select few who possess enough power to challenge the god-like Guardians and quell the growing flames of war. It is these beings whose story we follow here, as they explore the secrets of the creation of the universe, and the forces that might come to destroy it.

(Expert level, 28 scenarios complete, 11 optional scenarios.)

Genesis
This campaign is the prequel to campaigns Invasion from the Unknown and After the Storm.

After install the included MP gameplay modification(s) will be available in the multiplayer “Create Game” dialog.
Pick Unit Advance
In multi-player game, you do not control unit advancements if they happen on enemy turn.
With this add-on, you can set them beforehand for:

* one exact unit
* all new units of same type in game
* all new units of same type in future games on a map. It stores your choice locally on the computer using wesnoth API. It's safe and doesn't/cannot work if you disable the add-on.

SXCollection
Collection of SurvivalXtreme maps. In SurvivalXtreme you don't recruit, but can enhance your leader during the game. You get gold, extra moves and an extra attack for every enemy you kill. Up to five players can play cooperatively against the AI.

Many of these maps are balanced for play with characters from the SXC Default Low-Level Era. Some maps require all players to have Ageless Era installed, as the AI will use units from that era even if the players' units are from the default era.

This pack also contains some abandoned scenarios in the 'unbalanced' directory, the aim of this is to collect the maps which could be turned back in to playable scenarios. To enable these maps, you need to edit the add-on.

This requires Wesnoth 1.13.12 or later (if you are building from Git, the minimum version is 1.13.11+dev with 494b2f35ca58d2ccd3106724a86267ca666e6805). If you find bugs, please comment in the forum thread, or pm Octalot.
